Celebrating and empowering the value that women of all ethnicities, backgrounds, and professions contribute to society
There are countless opportunities that women now have since the beginning of the feminist movement…but the progress doesn’t stop here. Over the years women have exposed their brilliance and resiliency, despite the backlash and oppression they have endured in all cultures since the dawn of time. Since the very first women activists began initiating liberal, feminist movements, society has made tremendous progress in advocating for, and enacting, their rights and opportunities.
Women in the workforce, women in academia, women at home, and women all over the world are prospering personally and intellectually with their new-found opportunities. The first step in fostering growth is recognizing the need for it and the significance of the positive ramifications it has on every aspect of societal development. It has taken decades to realize the potential women have to be these change-makers who add unmeasurable value to the world; and now, this value has been introduced to countless industries, accelerating new and evolving trends and innovation.
Technology for Equality
Since the first women’s rights convention in 1848, gender equality has been an unrelenting movement that has no plans of slowing down. We are still working tirelessly toward closing wage gaps, reducing domestic violence, ensuring global suffrage and basic rights for everyone, and so many other causes that need to be addressed.
The tech world has long been dominated by a male population, but with emerging educational opportunities for women to help them enter this workforce, the tables are finally turning…or at least evening out. Becoming the strong role models that girls need to be inspired to put their hard work and talent into action means becoming a leader, and leadership is an admirable attribute that women all over the world now have the ability to embrace and exploit.
Technology is enabling the allotment of a vast field of resources necessary for anyone to achieve educational and career growth and help them climb the corporate ladder in work and in life. Not to mention, the power the tech industry has to spread the word of activism and social awareness on a global scale – the outreach potential of anyone using those tools and services is astronomical. The United Nations is showcasing a generation of women who are leading the way for the next in line in their International Women’s Day theme for 2023. Technology and digital innovation are shaping the infrastructure for advertising the power activism has to stimulate inclusive transformation, and are emphasizing the courage that women have shown through the decades to get to where we are today.
The Hope of a New Era
2022 was a year full of successes and downfalls for women liberation, but there is always room for redemption and progress in this new, modern era of feminism. That being said, let’s make 2023 a year full of empowerment, diversity, and pioneers leading the revolution for equality. So, what more can we do to propel the feminist movement worldwide? Across every continent and in every culture?
Emphasizing the history of the strength, courage, and determination that women have shown and continue to reveal is critical for generating a broader sense of respect for their value to society. A woman’s potential to transform and revolutionize societal standards and burst through endless barriers is becoming more and more prominent. We have to start breaking down the wall that conceals gender equality if there is to be any hope for a progressive future.
Going forward, let’s lead an inclusive transformation together, by continuing to prioritize diversity in the workplace and in life. Not only can we promote better growth this way for our customers, but we can establish the greatest workforce we can have behind us to do that.
